Angela needs your help with her efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination. Contributions will allow Angela to distribute her book and to speak at state and national workshops concerning mental health, law, faith, medicine, therapy, and education. She is sending copies of her book to key professionals in the hope of generating discussion and reforms.
“I need your help if I am to reach the targeted professions,” says Angela, who is known by many in the mental health field. Educating the media, the faith leaders, the legal community, the medical professionals, the non-medical mental health providers, and the educators will require funding. There are no scholarships for mental health consumers wishing to advocate in these areas.
